The second year of our artist residency programme ran from May to October 2025 with six artists in residence at St Barnabas Church Dalston.

In October 2025 we hosted an exhibition to close the residency, with new work by Amanda Colares-Silva, Chris Miller, Dohyun Baek, Ella Reid, Magdalena Gluszak-Holeksa and Renatha Hoga. Click here to view the Exhibition Publication, with an exhibition text by art critic David Trigg.

The residency is a practice based programme where the artists spend six months working in residence, and towards a final exhibition. The residency includes a weekly programme of seminars, workshops and crits from visiting tutors, with a focus on theology and art/faith enquiry in relation to artistic practice. The programme also has a focus on community and hospitality, with shared lunches and communal opportunities for reflection, prayer and liturgy.
