Make Good: The Art and Ideas of Corita Kent

Kath Hitchings

Recording of talk from the Make Good series in London

Recording and slides from the July Make Good event in London, with Kath Hitchings speaking on the Art and Ideas of Corita Kent.

Corita Kent was an American Pop Artist and  nun, most active in the late 1960s. She was a visionary with an incredible view of both art and life. Her creative outcome was extraordinary but her actual teaching principles are equally exciting.

Kath Hitchings is a textile and interiors specialist with specialism in autism and inclusion. She is currently the head of a Creative Arts department in a residential school for children and young people with additional needs. Kath has experience speaking at a number of venues including the Royal Academy of Arts and BBC Breakfast alongside of Kevin MC Cloud!  Kath has a number of creative hustles as well as her schools work and will weave in some of her own inspirational take aways into this presentation.
